National and international equestrians, competition winners and Olympians, who care about their safety but also about the way they look. These are the Safe Riding ambassadors, horsemen and women who have chosen S1 and S2 stirrups.

Born in Ireland in August 1988, Kevin Thornton first rode a horse at the age of 4. After his first regional competitions, he switched to European competitions and moved to Switzerland. Today, he competes in show jumping at International GPs and resides in Belgium where he has started a business trading and breeding sport horses.

Ambassador Safe Riding Brian Moggre

Brian is a young rider who competes for the United States. In 2019, at the age of 18, he became the youngest to ever win the World Cup in Lexington (USA). In 2020 he received the Lionel Guerrand-Hermes Trophy at the Take Me to Tokyo gala, a trophy awarded every year to a young rider who is an example of sportsmanship and horse riding.

Ambassador Safe Riding Ellen Whitaker

British Amazon in show jumping, Ellen Whitaker contributed to the qualification of the GB team for the 2008 Beijing Games, with three flawless jumps at the 2007 European Championships in Mannheim. In 2005, at the age of 21, she received the “Rider of the Year ” and “ Members’ Personality of the Year ” awards from the British Showjumping Association [BSJA].

Safe Riding ambassador Antonio Garofalo

The youngest of our ambassadors is a bronze medal winner at the European Jumping Championships for Juniors, the youngest rider to appear at Piazza di Siena, team silver medallist and individual gold medallist at the Buenos Aires Youth Olympic Games.

Safe Riding ambassador Sara Morganti

Sara Morganti starts riding at the age of 13. At 29 he enters the world of paradressage, where she achieves sensational successes. 24 times Italian champion, 2 silvers and 4 bronzes at the European championships. The titles of world champion in freestyle and technical paradressage, obtained in 2014 in Caen and repeated in 2018 in Tryon.

Safe Riding ambassador Matteo Orlandi

Matteo Orlandi grandson of Vittorio Orlandi, bronze medalist at the Munich Olympics in 1982, is a young promise of Italian equitation. In 2016 he finished third at the European Championships and in 2017 he won the Italian Pony Eventing Championships. In 2018 he was called up for the European Junior Championships Eventing and won the Italian Junior Championships.

Safe Riding ambassador Carolina Chade

Carolina Chade, U25 rider, two times National Champion, South American individual champion and teams champion, 3rd place on the Nations Cup in Wellington, placed in CSI-W 2* and several National Grand Prix, and has represented Brazil for seven consecutive years on the Youth National Team.

Safe Riding ambassador Matias Alvaro

Matias Alvaro is today one of the leading riders of the Argentine equestrian scene. In the past he competed under the Italian colors obtaining, from a young age, very important results. In fact, at 23 he won team gold in the youth Olympic Games, silver in the team European championships and a series of good placings in Samorin and in the GCT in Rome.

Safe Riding ambassador Danielle Goldstein

Danielle Goldstein began riding when she was eight and competed in her first grand prix at age 16, winning individual and team gold medals at that year’s North American Young Rider Championships. In 2010 she got Israeli citizenship and started to compete in the national riding team ever since. Danielle is a member of the first Israeli show jumping team, also qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and taking part in the WEGS in Caen and Tryon.

Safe Riding ambassador Manon Clayes

Manon (Belgium) has been riding horses since she was five. After a period of rehabilitation following a fall, in 2016 Manon returned to ride in para dressage internationally, collecting one success after another. She participated to numerous European competitions, to the Tryon WEGs for the Belgian national team and in 2019 obtained the title of national champion in para dressage.

The title of Absolute Italian Champion 2011 is no doubt the crowning achievement in a long line of successes, including 18 appearances in official team competitions and around 10 appearances at World Cup events. He has also had great success as a trainer for youngsters.

Member of the Swedish national eventing A-team, she is also well-known as a showjumper. In 2018 she achieved CIC*** at the Strzegom Horse Trials and took part in the Tryon WEG. She also trains horses for the Swedish Armed Forces, which she has represented in numerous competitions.

Safe Riding ambassador Raf Kooremans

Raf has been Benelux champion 4 times in his career and also managed to become 3x Belgian Champion. In 2008 Raf switched to the Dutch eventing team and won the silver medal 4x in a row at the Dutch Championship Eventing Seniors and, in 2019, the bronze medal at the Dutch Championship Eventing Seniors. Raf and Dimitri N.O.P. are in the running for the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020.

Ambassador Safe Riding Giacomo Casadei

In 2007 he became the first Italian to be ranked among the Top 50 riders at the Arezzo Global Champions Tour. And, in 2009, thanks to him, Italy took the silver medal in the team competition of the European Championships for the first time in over 50 years.
